He has made over 100 music videos for Queer Icons such as Boy George, Adamski, Scarlet Fantastic and of course, Boogaloo Stu! 🌈💕

“The quicker they date the better!” was Ladypat’s unofficial stance on his music videos! 🌈💕

He has an official Giphy account with over 4 BILLION views!! 🌈💕

Ladypat originally got his name from calling everybody “Lady!” and so the tables were turned on him. However, he also regards the name as an assault on class, gender and punctuation! He has been misgendering himself for over 20 years now! 🌈💕

Ladypat used to VJ in a burnt wedding dress with comedy dog cone of shame (alsatian size)! His electroclash ‘look’! 🌈💕

He accidentally transmitted his Gaydar profile all over the screens Live at the Exit festival in Serbia during his VJ days! 🌈💕

He has never had a showreel, CV or even a business card! Instead he has been proudly publishing his videos on his own website ladypat.com consistently since 2001 – one of the internet’s longest- lived URLs! 🌈💕

Ladypat once spent 10 years living off and on in India soaking up the vibes. He says that “the veil” is “thinnest” there. Fancy that!! 🌈💕

In 2005 Ladypat uploaded a music video made entirely from GIFs – a world first! 🌈💕

Despite a huge archive of digital art he has never published an NFT, believing them to be “heinous” and a “buzzkill”! Crikey!! 🌈💕

Ladypat started exhibiting his fuzzy felt artwork in 2019 at Homotopia festival in Liverpool courtesy of Duovision – pride of place went to two gigantic Prisoner Cell Block H murals! He has somehow managed to include a fuzzy felt portrait of Debbie Harry in every exhibition since.
Atomic! 🌈💕

He was awarded “Champion Reader” by BUSTER comic in 1981 and was set to be interviewed live on air by Sue Lawley on BBC’s current affairs programme Nationwide. However, serial killer ‘the Yorkshire Ripper’ was sentenced that day, so baby Pat lost his slot. Eek! 🌈💕

In 2008 Boy George went on the Richard and Judy Show which also aired his Ladypat video “Yes We Can”. “That could almost be the new Band Aid video!” quipped Richard, tragically. 🌈💕

In 2017 Yoko Ono & Imagine Peace campaign & Hifi Sean released the animated video by Ladypat for ‘In Love with Life’ via Pitchfork! Major! 🌈💕

Ladypat in collaboration with Bearsta presented a legendary clothing line ‘MINGLAND’ in 2007 – a blueprint for the nation ever since! 🌈💕

Both Stu and Pat share the same favourite singer: Billy Mackenzie of Associates. Stu’s favourite single of all time is Associates- Party Fears Two and Pat’s is the follow-up Club Country. Stu, Pat AND Billy were all born in Scotland! McFab! 🌈💕

Stu’s hair is actually not real – it’s a wig. 🌈💕


Stu is affectionately known to his friends and fans as Boogs. 🌈💕


Stu once used a huge fake penis to masturbate over Olivier Award judges in the Duckie show ‘C’est Barbican’. Naturally, the show went on to win the Best Entertainment award. 🌈💕


Stu has released 3 pop albums – The Glambassador, Enough About You…Let’s Talk About Me and Magic Soul, and is currently working on a new musical project about Disco. 🌈💕

People often think Stu has a very slight West Country twang. He has never lived anywhere near that part of the country. 🌈💕


Stu once hosted an occasional club night called Splosh-A-Rama, in celebration of famous cinematic food fights. It was intended to be puerile, childish entertainment; but came to an abrupt end when loads of pervy types turned up, asking to have custard poured into their pants. 🌈💕


Stu makes all of his own stage costumes from recycled vintage fabrics. He loves to find authentic 70s platform shoes and breathes new life into them with a sequin here and there. Would you believe it! How fab is that. 🌈💕


Pop Magic was one of Stu’s touring shows, where audience members made a pop song and video from scratch in one hour. It was always fun; with some glorious, hilarious and occasionally terrifying results. Ladypat made the videos, of course – and they are all preserved for posterity on YouTube. 🌈💕


Stu began his showbiz career running Dynamite Boogaloo with Dynamite Sal and Dolly Rocket It ran for 17 years from 1992-2007. The trio have a combined age of 167. 🌈💕


Stu used to design knitwear. Bjork loved his designs, and so did Sinitta. Stu’s only proper job was for a knitwear company in New York. He spent almost every night at clubs and parties, marvelling at the likes of RuPaul, Lady Bunny and Susanne Bartsch; then rolling in to work very hungover and usually being sick in the toilets. 🌈💕


Despite never actually visiting Japan, Boogaloo Stu has released a Best Of Boogaloo Stu compilation album there. Fancy that! 🌈💕
